Covid-19 incidence in Bulgaria on a two-week basis is 167 per 100,000 of the population, according to official data. The highest incidence rate on a 14-day basis of over 250 per 100,000 people was recorded in the city of Sofia, as well as in Varna and Burgas regions. The lowest incidence is in the districts of Kardzhali, Shumen and Veliko Tarnovo.
According to the map of the epidemic situation, which is divided into five regions according to the occupancy of intensive care hospital beds, the two central regions are at the lowest stage - zero. Within days, the southern region, covering the districts of Plovdiv, Pazardzhik, Smolyan, Kardzhali and Haskovo is expected to move into stage one.
