On July 26, the National Council of the BSP will consider two options for a constitutional decision, the chairman of the parliamentary group of the party, Georgi Svilenski, said. He did not specify whether the decision is to return the mandate or a prime minister, who will have 7 days to form a government, will be proposed. What the BSP will do with the third and last government-forming mandate in the current parliament will be announced by July 29, Svilenski said.

If Kornelia Ninova does not return the mandate on July 25, the president must dissolve the parliament in the coming days and schedule new elections in September, the leader of the "Vazrazhdane" party Kostadin Kostadinov wrote on Facebook.

According to the opposition, the 7-day constitutional period, in which the BSP must decide if it will try to form a government, expires on July 25 at 5:00 p.m.
