An urgent meeting of the crisis headquarters for energy with the participation of employers' organizations, at which compensations for businesses due to the high prices of natural gas will be discussed, should take place this week. Chairman of the Bulgarian Industrial Capital Association, Vassil Velev, has called for the meeting.
In an interview with BNR, he said that the meeting should answer the question whether there would be gas for all consumers and what its price would be, as some enterprises were already stopping activities. Velev also asked about how relations with "Gazprom Export" were regulated, in order for Bulgaria to avoid paying one billion euros in fines in the future.
According to the business, the gas tender announced by "Bulgargaz" for September with a starting price of BGN 380/MWh (€164/MWh) was scandalous.
