The situation of Ukrainian refugees will be a highlight of the International Forum "Bulgarian Heritage", which is held in Balchik for the eighth time. The forum starts today and continues until August 26.
Bessarabian Bulgarians, who found refuge in this country from the war in Ukraine, will also participate in a scientific conference on the ethnology and migration of Bulgarians. The conference is held under the leadership of Prof. Elena Raceeva of Taraklia University.
The forum has already issued a call to the refugees with Bulgarian roots to join the discussion and tell about their experiences.
