95 years have passed since the construction of one of Sofia’s architectural gems

2022 marks 110 years since the international architectural design contest and 95 years since the actual construction of one of Sofia's architectural masterpieces - the building that today houses the Ministry of Agriculture.

The building in Neo-Baroque style is work of renowned Bulgarian architect Nikola Lazarov and is characterized by its curved and richly-decorated facade, stone columns, balconies and balustrades.
