The election process ended without serious incidents. We managed to cope with the task of ensuring the security of the elections, said the caretaker Interior Minister Ivan Demerdzhiev, presenting summarized data on the work of the police during the vote. Over 1,300 signals were received and verified.

The established pre-trial proceedings for election violations are 143, with 90% more compared to the previous elections in October 2022.

126 people were detained, compared to 90 before. According to the minister, the return of the paper ballot has increased attempts to manipulate the vote, with the main signals of a corporate vote referring to the GERB party.

"Mass buying of votes was not allowed in risky polling stations. There is even reduced voting there," said the chief secretary of the ministry, Petar Todorov.
