Bulgaria and Japan to cooperate in the IT sector

Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan Yasutoshi Nishimura and a delegation including representatives of leading Japanese companies have visited and held meetings at INSAIT - Institute for Computer Sciences, Artificial Intelligence and Technology in Sofia.

During the first visit of a Japanese economy minister to Bulgaria for the past 50 years, the possibilities for expanding business contacts in the field of technology were discussed and a joint declaration was signed, aimed to deepen cooperation in the IT sector and innovation between the two countries.

Minister Nishimura also met with Bulgarian scientists, entrepreneurs and with the Deputy Prime Minister for the management of European funds Atanas Pekanov.
