Weather forecast: Sun over the Black Sea coastline, rain and thunder in the mountains

During the night the rain over Western Bulgaria will stop and the clouds will scatter and disperse. In the Eastern part of the country the weather will be predominantly sunny.

Tomorrow, Sunday,11 June, the weather will be mostly sunny in the morning. At around midday and in the afternoon cumulus rain clouds will develop over Western and Central Bulgaria, and there will be brief showers and thunder; there may be hail. In some parts, mostly in the mountains and mountain regions these phenomena will be intensive. There will be a moderate wind, mostly from the Northeast. Maximum temperatures 25-30° C., for Sofia around 25° C.

Over the Black Sea coastline, the weather will be predominantly sunny. There will be a light to moderate wind from the East-Northeast. Maximum temperatures 23-25° C., temperature of the sea water 21-23° C., sea state 2.

Over the mountains there will be cumulus, in Western and Central Bulgaria – rain clouds, with brief showers and thunder. There will be a moderate wind from the Northeast. Maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m. around 19° C., at 2,000 m. 12° C.
