Protest demands the resignation of Bulgaria's President Radev

A protest was held in front of the Presidency demanding the impeachment of President Rumen Radev on the grounds that he is dividing the nation. "There are enough reasons to demand the resignation of the President. The most recent is the claim that "Ukraine insists on waging this war". This is against the European interest and against the Bulgarian interest," one of the protesters said for the Bulgarian National Radio.

There was another rally in front of the Presidency building. Protesters voiced discontent with President Radev's refusal to call a referendum on retaining the Bulgarian lev as the only official currency until 2043.

"Bulgaria is a democratic country where everyone has the right to protest. The thing is that the protests should produce a result," Rumen Radev said earlier.
