National livestock exhibition takes place in Sliven

The 17th National Livestock Exhibition Sliven 2023 is being held in Sliven, South-Eastern Bulgaria, on October 6 and 7. The event is organized by the Executive Agency for Selection and Reproduction in Livestock Breeding and traditionally gathers breeders and owners of buffaloes, cows, horses, goats, sheep, dogs and others. The program includes interesting and educational events for all ages - from the youngest visitors to professionals in the sector.

The program for Saturday from 9:00-13:30 includes the Day of the Old Bulgarian cheeses from autochthonous breeds and presentation of old Bulgarian cheese recipe books and tasting.
