Bulgaria Today – 16 November 2023

Welcome to Bulgaria Today, the English-language podcast of Radio Bulgaria, on November 16.

We start with a summary of the leading news stories from Bulgaria and the weather forecast for tomorrow.

Next, we mark the 110th anniversary of the oldest writers’ organization in Europe – the Union of Bulgarian Writers as RB’s editor-in-chief Krasimir Martinov talks to the chairman of the union Boyan Angelov on the mission of writing, inspiration and challenges in the modern time.

In the final minutes of our podcast, we bring you a classic of Bulgarian pop music – remembering the melodies of composer Panayot Slavchev with the much-loved pop song “The world is made for two”.
