Corruption deprives ordinary Bulgarians of resources needed for schools, roads and economic growth. It weakens institutions and is a breeding ground for hostile action by other countries against Bulgaria, British Ambassador in Sofia Rob Dixon told BNR. To address these challenges, Bulgaria needs a stable government.

We are determined to continue to support Ukraine, the ambassador said, adding that the UK has provided £9.3 billion in aid to Ukraine. The diplomat stressed the importance of security in the Black Sea. We believe Black Sea security is a very important aspect of the overall response to this conflict," Dixon said, stressing the importance of Black Sea grain supplies.
