Bulgaria Today – 25 December 2023

Merry Christmas, dear friends of Radio Bulgaria all over the world!

On behalf of our entire team here in Sofia, we wish you all the best with lots of health, prosperity and blessings for you and your families and loved ones!

Stay with us over the next half an hour to immerse yourself in the spirit of Christmas Bulgarian style. We will tell you more about what are the typical traditions on this day here connected with the tradition of the "koledari" - the Bulgarian carol singers.

Also, we talk to a remarkable woman who works with gold, silver and silk for reviving old techniques in making the Kyustendil national costume, one of the most impressive in the Bulgarian folklore regions.

There will be, of course, lots of Bulgarian Christmas music with traditional "koledarski" folk songs, children's Christmas songs and pop music in the spirit of Christ's Nativity!

Be healthy and blessed! Enjoy our festive Christmas podcast!
