"We welcome the decision of the House of Representatives in the US Congress on the powerful support for Ukraine," the Council of Ministers wrote on its Facebook page on the occasion of the approved long-awaited aid to the country worth 61 billion dollars.

According to the caretaker Cabinet of Ministers, the US military aid package is an important step at a crucial time that will bring more security to the Black Sea region, Europe and the entire Euro-Atlantic area.

The funds are critical to defend Ukraine in the war with Russia, and much of it will be used to arm the Ukrainian army.
