Welcome to Bulgaria Today, the English-language podcast of Radio Bulgaria, on October 10, hosted by Rositsa Petkova.

In today’s show we start with a summary of the leading news stories from Bulgaria and the weather forecast for tomorrow.

Next, we join BNR’s correspondent in Veliko Tarnovo region Zdravka Maslyankova on a curious visit to the small village of Vishovgrad where an Australian couple, Claudia and Robert, have decided to hold their big Bulgarian wedding. How come?

At the end in our Song of the Day slot we will remember famous folklore singer from the Thracian region Tonka Koleva known as the “Nightingale of Haskovo”.
