The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation recommends to its citizens to avoid traveling to countries that have agreements with the USA for detaining and turning over foreign nationals the demand of Washington. The message is related to international sanctions imposed on Russian officials, businessmen and heads of mass media in the context of Crimea’s accession to Russia and Moscow’s approach to the crisis in Ukraine. This recommendation concerns dozens of countries, Bulgaria included. In the list of top 10 destinations for Russian tourists in 2013, which includes Bulgarian Black Sea resorts, Montenegro is the only country, which has no agreements with the USA of the above mentioned type.
