Partnership for Development of Tourism between Bulgaria, Macedonia

The signature of a memorandum by 35 organizations and institutions from the border region of Bulgaria and Macedonia closed the roundtable held in Sandanski, Bulgaria, on Partnership for the Development of Tourism. The forum was organized as part of the project “Mapping the cultural heritage of Stroumyani, Bulgaria, and Karbintsi, Macedonia, and encouraging the development of cultural tourism through integrated tourism products”. More than fifty officials joined the forum from local administrations, museums, NGOs, small and medium enterprises related to tourism, travel agents and media from Southwestern Bulgaria and the Eastern Region of planning in Macedonia.
