Italian Flavia Pennetta has drawn a wild card in the Garanti Koza WTA tournament of champions in Sofia due at Armeets Arena from 28 October until 2 November. She replaces Jelena Jankovich who has an injury and has withdrawn from tournaments by the end of the season. In this way five of contenders in Serdika and Sredets groups of the tournament have become known. Pennetta joins Tsvetana Pironkova, Dominika Cibulkova, Ekaterina Makarova and Andrea Petkovic.
