Retired people with lowest pensions will receive EUR 20 for Christmas. That was reported after a meeting of PM Boyko Borissov with Finance Minister Vladislav Goranov. This includes 1,300,000 pensioners, who receive up to EUR 146 per month. This means around EUR 26 mln. of treasure money. PM Borissov voiced to media that he had assigned a task to Finance Minister Vladislav Goranov – to see what can be cut from infrastructure projects, including administration, for the supplement. Mr. Goranov explained that there are certain savings in the transfers to the state social insurance, while some infrastructure projects will be slightly delayed for next year. We will cut from everything without accumulating arrears, the finance minister resumed.
