CITUB protests against budget 2015

The Confederation of Independent Trade Unions in Bulgaria launched a protest rally against the intentions to cut means in the budget sector, against the pension reform currently under preparation and against the tough situation in the energy sector. “We will not pay for someone else’s mistakes with our pensions, with our jobs and our salaries”, trade union members maintain. More than 6 000 members of the CITUB demonstrated on the part of 300 000 members of the largest public organization in this country. The rally passed by the government building and launched a demonstration in front of the National Assembly. The second largest trade union – Podkrepa Confederation, refused to join the protests action.
