US not to deploy armored vehicles in Bulgaria

The US do not intend to deploy tanks or armored vehicles in Bulgaria. This was made clear from an interview with the Commander of the US Army in Europe, Lt. Gen. Ben Hodges, who spoke to Reuters. According to him, Washington plans to deploy 150 tanks and armored vehicles in Poland, Romania or the Baltic countries, but there was no mention of Bulgaria, as was assumed before. As Hodges said, currently the US has in Europe approximately 30,000 military officers and almost as many officers in the Air Force and Navy.
