Close to 400,000 Bulgarians travel abroad for holidays

The Association of Bulgarian Tour Operators and Travel Agents reports that for Christmas and New Year holidays from 350 to 400,000 Bulgarians traveled abroad. More precise statistics is hard to make given that many of them organize their trips on their own. The numbers of tourists who traveled nationally are even greater and this has been a trend for years. Key destinations included mostly local skiing resorts.
