Bulgaria, Austria foreign ministers meet in Sofia

Bulgaria and Austria have common interests and concerns over a range of issues on the European and international agenda, said Bulgarian Foreign Minister Daniel Mitov at a joint press conference in Sofia with Austria’s Foreign Minister Sebastian Kurz. The two diplomats hailed the Ukraine ceasefire deal reached in Minsk and voiced hopes that it would be observed by all sides. The future of Europe and more notably of Southeast Europe was also discussed at Mitov-Kurz talks. Our goal is to encourage the Western Balkan countries on their road to reforms that are going to make their European prospects happen, Minister Mitov said.
