Unemployment in Bulgaria dropped down to 10.8 percent in January 2015, indicate Eurostat data. By way of comparison the level of unemployment in the country stood at 12.6 percent over the same period of last year, whereas in December 2014 the percentage was 10.9. According to Eurostat data there were 367,000 unemployed in Bulgaria in January. Exactly one year earlier their number was 424,000. A drop in the unemployment rate has been registered across the EU – in January this year it stood at 9.8 percent. During the same month of 2014 this percentage was 10.6.
