The diplomats discussed topical issues on the EU agenda, including the situation in Macedonia and Ukraine, as well as relations between Russia and the EU. The two foreign ministers have also adopted a joint statement which calls for a Europe that is more dynamic and open to the world and that could ensure the prosperity and security of all EU countries. The ministers have also called for reducing administrative barriers to business and for signing the agreement between the EU and the US and promoting its benefits.
