The number of the Russian and the Ukrainian tourist visiting the Bulgarian seacoast has dwindled significantly by nearly 60%, the General Secretary of the Bulgarian Hotel and Restaurant Association Veselin Nalbantov announced. In his view, the decline was expected, because these people live in military areas and have become poorer due to the conflicts there. Veselin Nalbantov also pointed out that currently the country’s summer resorts are full mainly with people who own properties in Bulgaria. He noted that Bulgaria can not make up for the loss of Russian and Ukrainian tourists.
