Bulgaria and China agree on joint actions against crime

Bulgarian Minister of the Interior Rumyana Bachvarova, who is paying a visit to Beijing, and Chinese Minister of Public Security Guo Shengkun signed a bilateral agreement for cooperation in prevention and curbing crime. During her visit Minister Bachavrova pointed to the need to expand pragmatic cooperation in law enforcement as a factor promoting bilateral relations. Bachvarova’s Chinese counterpart voiced hope for the two countries to expand cooperation in fighting trans-national crime, to collaborate for further developing partnership between the two states and play due rile in the “16+1” cooperation formula between China and the countries of Central and East Europe.
