There is a huge internal political problem in Greece, Bulgarian Foreign Minister Daniel Mitov said for the BNT, commenting the blockade on the part of protesting Greek farmers of the border checkpoints between Bulgaria and Greece. Minister Mitov further explained that the Greek government has filed two draft bills related to social payments and pensions, which are part of the package of agreements reached with the creditors, but the Greek protesters refuse to enter into talks with their own government before these two draft bills are withdrawn from Parliament. Minister Mitov explained that in view of the blockade affecting Bulgarian carriers and the related losses, the government has sent a letter to the European Commission, which is to initiate a checkup and possibly – a punitive procedure against Greece.
