The news was announced by Veliko Tarnovo mumnicipality following the meeting between UNESCO Director-General Irina Bokova and Veliko Tarnovo Mayor Daniel Panov. Veliko Tarnovo will apply with the Old Town ensemble, as well as with medieval churches in the village of Arbanasi and Asenov residential district.
