The biggest printed editions’ exhibition for the season kicks off on May 24, the Day of Slavonic Alphabet, Bulgarian Enlightenment and Culture. It is named Spring Bazaar of Books and some 100 Bulgarian publishers and book traders will present their editions within the 6 days of the forum. Over 55 events will take place at the National Palace of Culture and elsewhere downtown Sofia – premieres of books, readings and meetings with more than 50 Bulgarian authors, poets, translators and publishers. The Book Knight awards will be handed tonight at the Peroto /The Plume/ literature club, expressing the gratitude of the Bulgarian publishers towards those journalists, who work for the popularization of the Bulgarian book.
