The Road Infrastructure Agency has presented the new vignette stickers for motor vehicles for use on the country’s roads in 2017. The prices of stickers remain unchanged – 97 leva (48 euro) per annum, 30 leva (15 euro) per month and 15 leva (7.5 euro) per week. The stickers are protected against forgery with three types of protection and are practically unforgeable, Minister of Regional Development Lilyana Pavlova has said. Drivers who have not bought a vignette sticker or own one but have not put it on their cars shall be fined immediately and the registration board of the respective vehicle shall be removed unless a compensatory fine is paid. New vignette stickers shall be released for sale on 20 December in more than 2000 outlets across the country.
