Negotiations between BNR and Musicautor continue on Monday

The Musicautor association will send to the BNR tomorrow a concrete offer for copyright settlement and on Monday both parties will continue with the negotiations. This is the result of today’s meeting at the Digital Media Council of the public media, the copyright association and the ministry of culture. The BNR doesn’t have the right to broadcast 95% of today’s modern music repertoire as of January 1st due to the unsolved dispute between the public media and the copyright-holding association, as the latter insists on the payment of a copyright sum which is 3.5 times higher.
