Bulgaria’s top tennis player Grigor Dimitrov has progressed to the second round of the tennis tournament in the Dutch city of Rotterdam with a prize fund worth more than 1.85 million euro. Grigor defeated Mischa Zverev 6:7(4), 6:2, 6:4. The Bulgarian has scored 15 wins from the total of 16 matches so far this year. He has already won two titles in 2017 – in Brisbane and at Sofia Open, and played an epic semi-final at the Australian Open. After beating Zverev Dimitrov has earned 24,210 euro from the prize fund and 45 points for ATP world rankings. In the second round he faces Denis Istomin of Uzbekistan.
