Bulgarian Radoslava Mavrodieva has won the gold in the shot put at the Balkan Indoor Athletics Championships in Belgrade. She did her best with her very first attempt with 18.10 m. Other medals for Bulgaria at the Balkan Championships include high-jump silver of Tihomir Ivanov with 222 cm following gold medalist, Cypriot Vasilios Konstantinou with 225 cm. In the triple jump Rumen Dinitrov claimed the silver with his best attempt at 16.10 m behind winner Levon Aghasyan of Armenia with 16.39 m. 17-year-old Bulgarian Lilyana Georgieva set her eighth national record and won the bronze in the 800 m race.
