After large scale activities for the conservation and restoration, the Thracian mounds of Helvetia and Griffons were opened for visitors. The tomb mounds are situated near the town of Shipka, Kazanlak municipality, at the foot of the Balkan Range. The place is also known as the Valley of Thracian Rulers. The Marble Foyer of the Bulgarian National Radio is the venue of an exhibition entitled “Menu for Travel”. It shows 25 color and black & white photographs from different parts of the world inspired by haiku poetry. Such images are called haiga – the visual expression of haiku poetry and the poetic expression of the art to live with full consciousness to the current moment. The project “Menu for Travel” brings together the impressions of opera singer Diliana Georgieva and poet Petar Pavlov, gathered during travels to various countries.
