Strong summer tourist season in Bulgaria expected

The tourist branch expects revenues to the tune of EUR 2.8 bln. over the summer season only. The whole year will bring in more than EUR 3.5 bln., said for the BNR Head of Institute for Analyses and Assessments in Tourism Rumen Draganov. He also expects 11.5 mln. foreign tourists this year, or over 1 mln. more than in 2016. However, the low wages of the manpower within the branch remains an issue, Draganov went on to say.
