During the traditional meeting of Bulgaria’s ambassadors President Rumen Radev has said that Bulgaria should have a single foreign policy. The head of state has commented that there is currently a normative vacuum regarding the process of how exactly the foreign policy of the country is developed, and has vowed that he is determined to work jointly with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for its effective formulation and sharing with all institutions. According to Rumen Radev the main prerequisites for foreign policy effectiveness include a clear purpose and priorities, clear mechanisms for the development of a single national position, and last but not least, powerful tools for the accomplishment of this policy.
