Seven medals for Bulgarian wrestlers in Romania

Bulgarian Greco-Roman wrestlers won the team title at the wrestling tournament in Romania, which is the final check before the World Cup in Paris next month. The Bulgarian team won a total of 7 medals.

The gold went to Daniel Alexandrov (80 kg), Nikolay Bayryakov (85 kg) and Konstantin Stas (66 kg); Radoslav Vasilev (59 kg) snatched a silver, and bronze was won by Avgustin Spasov (59 kg), Evgeni Genchev (98 kg), who returned after a year's absence, as well as by Miloslav Metodiev (130 kg).

In the team ranking Bulgaria is followed by Turkey and Romania. The Bulgarian wrestlers were led by head coach Armen Nazaryan and his assistant Biser Georgiev.
