At a meeting in Belgrade Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic has thanked Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ekaterina Zaharieva for Bulgaria’s efforts aimed to keep the European Union open for enlargement into the Western Balkans. The talks were held on the second day of Zaharieva’s visit to Serbia which is part of her Balkan tour. In a meeting she held with Serbia’s Justice Minister Nela Kuburovic the two officials have discussed difficulties in the negotiation process for the accession of Bulgaria’s western neighbor to the EU. Earlier today Zaharieva met with Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic. The two have agreed that the Bulgarian and Serbian diplomatic services should work to encourage business between the two countries. The first step in this process will be a bilateral economic forum in Nis or another Serbian city.
