The closing event of the 20th International Jazz Festival in the mountain resort of Bansko tonight features both international stars Bulgarian musicians.

Peter Salchev and Octet Plovdiv band will be first. Salchev has concertized in Bulgaria as well as in Germany, Britain, Austria, Denmark and USA. Octet Plovdiv is a jazz band founded in 2012 by pianist Miroslav Turiiski and includes also Alexander Lekov (bass), Kristian Jelev (drums) Venelin Georgiev (alto saxophone), Dimitar Liolev (tenor saxophone), Martin Tashev (trumpet), Darin Ivanov (trumpet) and Blagoy Geshev (trumpet).

Spectators are thrilled with the prospect of listening to Patti Austin, USA, the Grammy-winning R&B, pop and jazz singer.

Forty-seven years after their debut Mungo Jerry Blues Band, from the UK, led by Ray Dorset, will appear in Bansko tonight. It is not the first time the band comes to Bansko, and it is a band worth ending the final concert in the 20th edition of the jazz festival.

The Bulgarian National Radio Hristo Botev Channel will broadcast the concert live starting at 19:10 h local time (16:10 h GMT).
