Most often Bulgarians are posted to work in France, Belgium and Germany.
In the meantime, the share of workers from other EU states accepted in Bulgaria is five times smaller (0.1 percent of the country’s workforce).
The figures were presented in connection with the debate on changes to the Posting of Workers Directive which pertains to workers sent by their employers for temporary jobs in EU countries other than their own.
