Importing workers should not lead to dumping on labor market: trade unions

Gray economy and the deficit of staff act as two major obstacles for the development of the Bulgarian economy, the leaders of trade unions and representatives of the business agreed during a meeting today.

The leader of the Confederation of Independent Trade Unions in Bulgaria Plamen Dimitrov said that importing workers from third countries should not lead to dumping on the labor market and said: “The market test is a must. It will suggest whether we need a foreign worker or a different option is applicable.”
