With the approaching of the Day of National Enlighteners, the town of Pleven, northern Bulgaria, launched an initiative for the copying of “Slavo-Bulgarian History”, written by Paysii of Hylendar. The idea was suggested by Pleven painter Dyan Pavlov (right) and received the support of the Municipality. First to start copying the history book by hand are the children from the “Young Revival Enthusiasts” Club from Hristo Botev School in the town. The place where the writing process is to develop is fixed in a public building in the center of the town, so that more people can take part. The ready manuscripts will later be kept in the Regional Museum of History. Photo: BTA
