A group of young artists, musicians, visual artists, art critics, sociologists offer an unconventional view of Sofia with a project called “Multipolis”. The project was first launched two years ago. This year’s exhibition – “Pleasure spots” – is on at the Sofia City Art Gallery until 26 November. Each one of the participants offers a different angle to the city, depending on their interests, skills and expertise. What has attracted their attention are locations with problems,
seemingly insignificant phenomena and occurrences which intersect in the point of pleasure. But what the exhibition aims to do is look beyond the “pleasure spots”. That is why the Sofia City Art Gallery has designated space where visitors can gain an insight into the “city of pleasure” through books, texts, videos and documents illustrating the project’s workflow.
