We have ambitions to see a stronger EU after Bulgarian Presidency ends: Rumen Radev

During talks with the President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker, Bulgarian President Rumen Radev said that the EU should emerge even stronger after the end of the Bulgarian Presidency. Radev vowed that Bulgarian institutions would work hard and united for the accomplishment of this goal.

The EC president confirmed his support for the efforts of Bulgaria to strengthen the European integration perspective of the Western Balkan countries.

Rumen Radev and Jean-Claud Juncker discussed steps for building common European defense taken over the past year. The Bulgarian president voiced the readiness of the country to take part in future projects in the defense industry, science and in the development of joint capabilities between the Member States in defense.
