The public effect of the debates about the Istanbul Convention is serious and the majority of the adult Bulgarians disapprove of the document, a research of Gallup International shows. 86% of the respondents have heard about the Istanbul Convention. 58% of them answered that Bulgaria must not ratify the convention and 19% believe that the Istanbul Convention must be ratified by this country.
