The talented 10-year old violinist from Plovdiv Viktor Vasilev is the winner in one of the most prestigious international music competitions, the Grumiaux Competition in Brussels, Belgium.
Last year the pupil from Dobrin Petkov National School of Music and Dance Arts in Plovdiv received a grant from virtuoso Japanese violinist Midori Goto for his appearance at Grumiaux.
Viktor Vasilev won the competition vying with outstanding talents from across the globe. The pupil has received a few distinctions from international contests and since 2016 has been a junior student in the violin class of prof. Mario Hossen at New Bulgarian University, Sofia.
