About 16 percent of the working population in Bulgaria aged 16 or over 960 thousand Bulgarians have had health problems causing certain discomfort in their everyday life and lifestyle, according to a Eurostat study.
For some 750,000 Bulgarians, difficulties and discomfort were moderate and for the others they were hard.
According to the same survey, the biggest number of people with health problems is in Latvia where citizens whose health limits their ability to work normally reach 37 percent. After that come countries like Austria (34%), Portugal and Finland - 33%, Estonia and Croatia - 32%, Slovenia - 31%, and others.
