Minister Pavlova reports to parliament over progress of Bulgarian Presidency of Council of EU

Bulgaria's Minister responsible for the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of EU, Liliana Pavlova, has reported in Parliament over the progress of the presidency, which is being implemented dynamically and in the spirit of a constructive dialogue.

For the first half of the presidency's term, 15 dossiers have been completed and progress has been made over 35 legislative dossiers, the minister said. At the same time, Pavlova pointed out that the most serious debates on security, external border protection, migration and the Dublin regulation are yet to come.

Speaking about the upcoming EU-Western Balkans Summit, which is to be held in Sofia on May17, the Minister said the forum was a unique opportunity to establish the Balkans as a good place for living.
