This evening the National Archeology Institute with Museum (NAIM) with the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences is to open an exhibition entitled “Sports in ancient Thrace”. The aim is to show the place and role of sports in Thracian culture during the Hellenic and the Roman periods, as it was strongly influenced by the ancient Greco-Roman civilization.
